jimmy eat world concert. @ 2:46 p.m. on 2002-04-12
boo diaryland being down yesterday:( Neways i'll just start off with some random stuff and then tell you ALL about the concert on wednesday! Today was got our mid-term marks *very important i must add* i wanted and needed a overall average from both semesters to be 75% and i got that! woo woo. i got a 80 in canada geo,75 in world issues, and 77 in finite! my dad was happy. Im sad:( only because my dog bob is sick. for the last week he has throw up or had "nasty" stuff coming out of the other end about 10 more times. we ended up putting newspaper all over the living room cause my parents were sick of cleaning it up. my dad took him to the vet today and he is still there now. my dad left him cause they have to do all these tests on him:( i hope my bobby is okay:) ok concert talk- so my mom drove me and karen to scar town center to get the subway around 6ish. we got to Union around 7ish ,got some harveys then walked to the kool haus. We had to wait a good 30 minutes outside in a line, and didnt get into the place til like 8:30 *doors opened at 8ish or so they said!*. we met up with justin,kristen,jess,anna, and some other chick i dont know. Karen went to go drink, and it was stupid cause they had this closed off section for drinkers. The opening band "plain white t's" came on around 9ish and they were alright. This guy went around handed their lyrics to us, so we could sing along! hahaha justin was going on about how "emo" they were and that we better not start crying when they go on! We were in the back area for them, but as soon as they finished we made a "train" to try to get closer for Jimmy Eat World. we were successful for the most part and got pretty close, but then was trapped by GIANT tall guys. Jess and anna were behind me, and i was squished between this two hugely tall guys. Jess and Anna are like 5 feet, and they couldnt see ANYTHING.I told Justin for once in my life i was glad i was tall. We waited and waited for J.E.W and another "train" of people went in front of us. i kept telling them "YOU guys keep moving, we have tall enough people in front of us" the one dude was like "sorry, im trying"...but YES he stoped right in front of us, and he was extremely tall too. i started telling them how it was the "tall convention". J.E.W FINALLY went on after a good 30+ minutes. Within the first 10 seconds of the first song, i got separted from everyone. The crowd went crazy pushing back and forth. everyone would push to the left, then the left would push back to the right..it was acually pretty funny, but a few times i felt like i was gonna suficate or fall. BUT I DIDNT! they were AMAZING live! i was relaly impressed!!!! i got a few pictures, and i hope they turn out! around the end of the show i found karen. we were just outside the mosh pit, but enough to be crazy. When they annocence it would be their last song, i told karen "GOOOOO" and we jumped into the mosh pit..i went crazy, had all these sweaty *by sweaty i mean SOAKING WET* guys all around me. JEW left the stage and everyone started yelling "JIMMY, JIMMY, JIMMMY......" and they came back to play " The Middle" and "Sweetness". I got kicked in the head a few times by the crowd surfers, and i ended up with a few bruises on my arm. But like i said before, it was TOTALLY worth it! i was BOILING by the end of the shower.. my hair was wet, and im pretty sure my pink shirt became see thru...so thirsty i was. i quickly tryed to get out of there, and found justin and kristen and we stoood in the lobby area and looked for the other. i found karen like 10 min later and we took off to get the 12:13am train. Man the ice tea i bought was the BEST ice tea i ever had cause i was SOOO thristy!!! hehehe..we got home around 1:30ish...:) fun fun and more fun is how i sum up that night!!!!:)The crowd was great, hot hot and more hot guys*with piercings!*, and GREAT music! well im not sure whats going on tonite, i know there is SOMETHING! right now im gonna chillax! bye byeeee
